Stefan Halusa

Biography

Most recently, Stefan Halusa was the Director General of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) from 1st September 2020 until 31st August2025. He was based out of Mumbai with additional offices in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Pune.

Prior to joining IGCC he had worked for almost 30 years in the industry. He started his career in 1993 as the Assistant to the CEO at Winterling Porzellan AG. In 1997 he moved to the Brose Group, one of the largest family-owned automotive suppliers in Germany. During his time at Brose, he held various senior management positions in the headquarter (VP Strategy and EVP Sales) as well as in Asia, where he served as President Asia, President Korea and President East Asia.

All in all, he spent more than 15 years working in different Asian countries.

Stefan Halusa holds a business degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. He is married to Barbara Halusa, who is a pharmacist. They have a 28-year-old son.
