Chandra Challagonda

Biography

Chandra Challagonda is the CEO of the FIWARE Foundation, driving global adoption of open-source smart solutions for sustainable cities, industry, and mobility.

With over two decades of experience in technology leadership, he has co-founded and scaled multiple ventures across Europe, including 2050 Materials and Chayus Group Oy.

Previously, he led innovation at APInf and 3D Visioner (acquired by Microsoft) and held senior roles at Nokia and Wipro. He also serves as Board Member of Gaia-X Association for Data and Cloud and Advisor to Verifiable.Trade Foundation. Chandra is a BITS Pilani graduate in Software Engineering.
